I was so happy for my first love when he found someone wonderful to spend his life with. I was happy, to see him happy. I did however feel very sad because she did not want us anywhere near each other and still to this day, almost 11 years later she still doesnt want him to talk to me.
Both of us are sad that we have missed out on key parts of each others lives. We grew up together, were best friends, and supported each other for so long that it sucks not to see him grow with his wife and baby.

Like Jaime said, I think it depends on how the relationship ends and also the person who they end up with. If they end up with say, your best friend or your mortal enemy, I think I may bothered by that. Again, I think it depends more on how it ends

What would your reaction be to hearing that your first love was getting married?
I guess it all depends on how the relationship ended. Mine ended on good terms but I honestly wouldn't care too much. Haven't seen her in over a decade.
