El Pibe is allergic to his sister's cat, Kobe. He gets all stuffy and he looks at me and says, "I CAN'T BWEED!!!!"
Fortunately, he's not allergic to my Loquito!!!
I'm allergic to mango!!! Well, I ate it about 15 years ago and my mouth nearly chiselled off so I'm scared to try it again. They say, children allergies go away as you grow up. I don't think I want to find out.

Allergy to dogs is not as problematic as allergy to cats because dogs are usually kept outside, they are kept outside of bedrooms and are washed regularly.
So how often do cats bathe?
And is there a way to prevent this allergy?
Not on the human's part.....but on the cat's part.....

Cats allergy A glycoprotein, Fel d 1, secreted by the sebaceous glands, is the major cat allergen. This allergen is found in the fur, pelt, saliva, serum, urine, mucous, salivary glands, and hair roots of the cat. The main sources of the allergen, however, are the skin and saliva. Cat allergen is so small it can remain airborne for months. It is about 10 times smaller than pollen or dust particles. According to research, it can be found in the dust of almost one third of homes that do not own a cat. It can be carried in on clothing or already be present from a previous cat owner. Studies have shown that moderate to high levels of cat allergen can even be found in schools, hospitals, and doctor's offices
Hahahaha!! The plan for world domination is slowly coming into place. :freak:

Actually, people allergic to dogs are also allergic to their saliva. When they groom themselves, they deposit the saliva antigens on their fur. The antigens become airborne when dry, and spread to clothes, furniture, carpeting, etc. Allergy to dogs is not as problematic as allergy to cats because dogs are usually kept outside, they are kept outside of bedrooms and are washed regularly.
