Well your idea sounds good, maybe you could get your borther and some other friends on another day and go to a strip joint if your brother doesn't mind don't forget that is his stag party and he is the one that should be having fun and not you lol   ,

Why are people so predictable?  LOL  EX: Casino, strippers....etc


I like Dogo's idea of a cozy house party with catered food and drinks so people can get to know each other and talk....that's tasteful and classy especially with older family members around....watch sports and even gamble if you cant come up with nothing creative to do.


Now....who's to say that suegrito doesnt wanna go to a strip joint? LOL


Nothing wrong with getting strippers, going to a strip joint...etc but hay que tener un poco de verguenza tambien y respeto for the older family members especially if you don't even know them that well yet.....


Going to Montreal is a great idea....like X said....LOL

I can tell you this, my very enlightened feminist open-minded brain says yes, it's no problem. If you trust the guy, then he knows not to mess around and you should be open enough to trust him and have one last night of fun with his friends.


But my very old-fashioned heart says Blah blah blah blah to all of the above... Strip joint? No way no how.


 


As for suggestions, a friend of mine had a casino night right at her house for her hubby's birthday not too long ago. She apparently rented all the equipment and paid students to be the croupiers. Then she had the whole event catered. Maybe your in-laws can leave earlier and then you guys can go out somewhere afterwards.

You can always have a night out just with the younger boys later. If you really want to go to a strip joint that is.

What you're planning to do sounds tasteful, a bit of gambling is always a good choice.

Actually, how come you don't rent a hall, where dinner will be served, open bar and full of gambling?

You can have girls that sell the raffle tickets, the raffle prizes can be tv's, sporting event tickets, you know, 'boy' toys. And all the money that party makes goes to the groom and to pay off that party. This party's sole purpose would be to generate $$.

Your idea sounds just fine.  If his in laws will be there than you must keep things in good taste.


I find it strange that they are going I have never heard of that...the brothers perhaps but the not the parents.


To be honest the casino is probably the best thing anyway...guys who are the strip joint types go all the time anyway and guys who are not would not find it fun.

If you MUST include the inlaws, then I would probably opt for just having dinner at someones home, as opposed to a restaurant. Maybe get a caterer if you don't want to have the usual manly pizza and beer, lol
At least you're not limited on time after you finish eating, the guys will be able to mingle a bit more and you can always have a little gambling in the form of card playing (or whatever) if that's something that you all like. 
The casino in a group larger than 3 strikes me as a bit cold, I mean, how are you all going to have a good time TOGETHER if you're all scatered all over the casino?
Guys always have a way of bringing up amusing conversations around the kitchen sink
You might even get lucky and the inlaws might decide to leave early and you could still take your brother for a little stripper action

Bowling is for married people.

My friend hired strippers for his buddy and the next day the guy's fiancee literally lined up all the groomsmen and gave them a lecture!!! Can u believe that? Let's just say the wife ruined a great friendship, they never see the guy anymore!!!

Montreal has a casino too... since you're hiring a bus anyway, why not get out of Ontario?

If you don't get a striper or go to a strip joint than you might as well pop some pop corn, get into your PJ's, have a pillow fight, watch a movie and have a slumber party.
