Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 5.0 to Wife 1.0 and noticed that the new program began making unexpected changes to the accounting modules, limiting access to video game purchasing and car accessory applications that had operated flawlessly under Girlfriend 5.0. In addition, Wife 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Out With the Fellas 9.9 but installed undesirable programs such as LIfetime 5.0 and Oprah 9.0. Conversation 8.0 runs at High Speed, and Nagging 2.6 simply crashes the system. I've tried running Ignore Her 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

Keep in mind, Girlfriend 5.0 is an entertainment package, while Wife 1.0 is an operating system. Try to enter the command: C:/YOU'RE RIGHT AND I WAS WRONG and install Shopping Trip 6.2. Wife 1.0 should then automatically run the applications: Affection 3.0 and Make-Up Sex 7.0. But remember, overuse can cause Wife 1.0 to default to Holding Out 2.5, Cold Shoulder 7.0, or PMS 6.1. PMS 6.1 is a very bad program that will create "Mood Swing" wave files. DO NOT install Best Friend's Advice 1.0 or reinstall another Girlfriend program. These are not supported applications and will crash Wife 1.0. In summary, Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. Consider buying additional software to improve performance. I personally recommend Roses 3.0 and Out to Dinner 5.3. Also, running Ignore Her 5.3 too often can sometimes cause Wife 1.0 to secretly install Former Boyfriend 1.0, which would then require you to run Private Investigator 7.5 utility and possibly even Attorney 9.0, which could lead to a system wide failure and the need to reboot Wife 1.0!
