Either people aren't paying attention to the thread or Dogo's sarcasm isn't strong enough... although all very good suggestions, he is referring to Vachon, Hostess and other junk cakes.

My faves are cheese danishes, but I also like chocolate eclairs too. But my bestest, most favourite pastries in the world are chinese buns. Seriously, if you can ever go to Chinatown, there's this chinese pastry shop, Furama, close to Spadina and Dundas; try them and trust me, you will never go back to any canadian or other pastries in the world. Try the coconut twists and there's another one with a sweet and crusty top that I can't remember the name of. Delicious! They also have a couple of chinese pastry shops on the Path.

Yes, I was thinking about real pastry because I've been craving for that one for a veryyyyy long time.

I am not a fan of this "Fresh" type of pastry but there is one chinese one that is make of Coco or some kind of bean (I know, I said bean) that I can eat without counting. Forgot the name though.
