(j/k) Seriously! This is a good thread..pls keep posting..i myself am ashamed to say dont cook very much so i spend lots of mula on restaurants....so any new places i am willing to try so long as they have a good review. BURGER KING is good but I find it's more for single people. I prefer a more intimate setting for when I treat my sweet like McDonalds. The downtown one with the balcony and street scenery.

If so, you should try ASTORIA on the Danforth....best tasting and portions of Greek Food ever!

Astoria is nice. great portions, and oh man, it's filling. It's just that greek food is soo common nowadays with MR, and friendly greeks everywhere.

yeah, for some reason i've been on a thai spree.
I keep switching.

Next place might be Vietnamese, or indian, or Russian
You have any recommendations?
_____________
Aji Sai (sp?)
bayview and 407 (south of the 407)
All you can eat sushi
nice place, gets pretty busy, but you can really get full in an hour. oh man.
i think it's $20 per person.

I usually go out to new restaurants to try new things and new places a lot, since I don't like cooking for 1 person, so here's my most recent spots.

Lime
thai food
yonge and eglinton
the Pad Thai at this place is pretty good.
Service was good, and friendly, and not a bad location at yonge and eglinton.
not too pricey either.
Lime
170 Eglinton Ave. E. (at Yonge), 416-322-LIME.

Mongolian Grill
All you can eat, cook your own food.
Great place for a gathering, and getting your hunger on.
Pick up a bowl, throw in your raw meat, veggies, some sauce, and some spices, and give it to the cook. they'll cook it up for you, and give you back a new bowl. This place is sweet. Then once you're done with your bowl, go back for more.
It's about $20 / person.
Various locations
