I understand everyones concern, puttin myself in your position I would feel the same way. I think its positive to be concerned, ask questions and not allow yourself to be punked, thats for sure. For those of you who are concerned about the re****tion of the company, I suggest to do a search on Dream Productions, we have been around for a long time, worked many many artists and have had very successful events. This is the first time we've had to postpone an event, the reason for which was completely out of our control. Another option is to do a check with the Better Business Bureau to see the history of the company. Finally for those of you who are concerned about being scammed out of money I suggest purchasing your ticket online at www.ticketbreak.com with your credit card. Most credit cards offer protection/insurance on theft, fraud, or loss of tickets. If after doing all this you are still concerned about whether or not the concert is legitimate, I invite to contact me directly at djconquista@rogers.com and if you've done your research and I feel it is essential, than I can even show you the contracts between Aventura, our other acts, and Dream Productions.

The postponement of this event was something we tried our best to avoid but somethings in life are unavoiable. There were so many complications that it was just not possible to get enough of the members of Aventura and their band to the stage. I am currently in the process of receiving records from the airport regarding the delays and cancellations of flights this past weekend due to weather conditions. Those also will available for anyone who wants to see them.

Finally regarding refunds, there aren't any. It clearly states on the ticket you purchased that there are no refunds. If you can prove to the company that you are unable to attend due to something already planned like a trip or something of that nature than Dream Productions will consider it. To do that you must email dreambrahim@yahoo.com with your request, reasons and evidence.

I know alot of you are upset and I'm sorry about that, but you payed to see Aventura and you will. Not only them but other great artists as well. We are working hard to make sure this event is spectacular, come June 3 no one who purchased a ticket will be disappointed.

Very true. I know a few myself. But regardless the rules/terms have to be reasonably fair for both parties. I forget the actual word/term for it... ONOUES??...or something like that. It basically refers to "one-sided" contracts that are unfair to one party and only benifit the other. Even if you sign a contract like this you can fight it and have it thrown out if the judge finds it was one-sided and unfair.

You're right about being able to check out cds and other things before you buy them but for concert tickets I don't remember that being the case. At ticketmaster booths first you pay then they print the ticket for you. And I don't think any latino store owner is willing to let go of a ticket before seeing some cash.

I was just reading the back of some ticketmaster tix here (took chiquitita to see Dora last summer) and it says something similar. I have to admit I don't fully understand what they mean by "incidental risks" of the event...I think that refers more to things like flying beer bottles or fires and stampedes inside and during the event. I clearly remember that topic from my music law class a few years ago.

So I still think ppl are entitled to their money back. Another reason for my reasoning is that purchasers weren't told or informed about the purchase terms/policy untill after the fact nor were they given the opportunity to decline to buy the tix after beign informed of the terms. This means they were duped into these unfair terms and that in itself is illegal.

I gotta disagree with you on that LB:

Unless the promoters had the terms of purchase printed on the back that specifically protects them from this situation (Post-poning) then they do have to give the money back. Reason being is that ppl bought their tix for a specific date and not the make-up one 4 months from now. So legally they are entitled to their money back. And on that same note: it's illegal to claim "No Refund If Cancelled" even if printed on the ticket. That wouldn't stand in any North Amercian court...if it did, it would open the doors for all sorts of scams.

Also, and this is for the show's sponsors: if the promoters didn't clearly indemnify it's sponsors of any liability then they too could be held accountable and named as deffendants in any case brought against the promoter regarding this show.

Can anyone scan and post the back of an aventura concert ticket, please?

I was GIVEN the OPTION to get my money back if I wished or keep my actual tickets for the new date. Since the new date dindn't fit my schedule, I asked for my money back. GOT it back No Qustions ask & with no problem or harassment. As the consumer I should have the RIGHT to choose. My two :cents:
