Mara, I've been in marketing/advertising for over 12 years and trust me, it's getting dirtier and dirtier to sell a product these days. Fake hype IS the new thing and I'm not saying Confu and her crew did it on purpose or those were her tactics, but even professionals up to the recording studios, Universal to be exact - I know I worked with them, have used street teams to create buzzes that you would call fake hype. From marketers on chatrooms to people in record stores hyping up a cd pretending they're customers themselves....it's getting crazy. You really should educate yourself before claiming to know or understand something.

Ok, I must do this because I was kind of dissapointed about the whole concert

not happening. For some reason, I knew something like this would happen,

when I saw this concert being overly promoted at a somehow "not professional"

level. Come on, the foro creating so many freaking threads about the

concert, I think it should've been promoted in another way, at least

i would've looked better.

So here I go to buy tickets for myself and my little niece, who is 15

and was dying to see stupid Aventura. The day of the concert I hear is

cancelled, without hearing a reasonable explanation. And until this day

I haven't heard a good reason as for why the concert was canceled...which

makes me wander. Maybe the concert was never going to happen after all.

And us stupid naive fans went and bought tickets for a bogus event.

After reading all your posts,... I think that most of the people would want their money back,..including myself,.. Dream Productions hasn't given any explanations why Aventura didn't perform,..todo esta turbulento,. This is not the first time they bring Aventura,. (Why this time Aventura didn't perform),. when you bring an artist you have a contract and the clauses must be specific,.. the Contractor will never get screw unless the artist couldn't perform because of a injury, illness,. o no pudo venir por algun tornado,. huracan,. or something like that,. out of control,..

About seen the big picture as Genie mentioned ,. the sponsors got publicity (Sold-out event),. the stores (they r only sellers),. and when someone went to buy the tickets probably 8/10 bought soemthing else at the store,. so they got something out of that,. BUT the public didn't,. no show ,. no money back ,. only dissapointment,.

One thing I forgot to point out earlier.....is that the AVENTURA concert was post-poned and not cancelled....therefore the promoters are NOT liable to refund your money back....(ask any laywer)...regardless of what act it is....major like MADONNA or minor like AVENTURA.....

Only if the concert was cancelled, then you would have every right to ask for your money back....

In the case of a POST-PONED date......you can carry your ticket over to the new date but NO refund will be issued....unless of course you sell the ticket yourself....and you can even ask for more $$$ since it's a sold out show and the day of, people were begging for tickets.....

That's what I'm going to do with my ticket.....LOL

Everyone who got tickets is pissed – and rightly so – for being “stuck” holding tickets for the Aventura concert that didn’t happen.  Hopefully, all of you that are in that situation can be understanding that most of the people you deal with in getting your tickets (Confundida, LadyBug, DJ_Conquista) are in the frontline as some of the main people have contacted and got their tickets from.  However, being involved with the project doesn’t make them responsible for the group falling short of delivering the concert, as promised.
