Finding true love The phrase suggests that there's going to be that one and forever out there. The notion of finding, it's metaphorical. It's like going out into the desert and finding an oasis or finding your coat after you lost it. It has the sense that there is something out there. That is misleading. Love is not a discovery process.
Strong relationships: The whole conversation that surrounds love and sex is full of these loose linguistic characterizations. We've been trying to talk about love for 2005 years or more. To get love to last forever, it's going to have to withstand the worst possible assault. And that might be whether or not there is strong love out there.
Homosexuality: If people love each other and they're not shooting each other or killing each other, we should celebrate love. We shouldn't stick up our noses and say 'isn't that wrong'.
