I went to court with my mom & I looked so young & innocent that I think he felt bad for me so he was nice. Really that's all I can think of, cause honestly I didn't say much other then i was gulity w/ explanation so then he just said hold & then told me the deal i got so I was shocked & just said "ok, thank you".

WOOOOHOOOOO I got away with it.

I'm so excited.

Anyhow the first guy from the court brough my speed down to 115/100 vs. 130/100 (which was really my ticket) + 3 demerit points & a fine of $130.00.

So cause of his kindness I got NO demerit points & a fine of only $37.50.

I'm so Happy.

BTW: I went on my own with no traffic tickets person & I did good for myself (actually I barely did any talking the court guy fixed it all for me with the cop) He was so nice .

There's a latino man on Keele south of Laerence, he's good at solving those traffic tickets. You'll pay for his service but chances are you won't have to worry for those demerit points which could increase your insurence rates.

Will work 90% of the time. The ones that can't get out of it are the drunk drivers or the ones who drive without insurance. Even then it is cheaper for most people to pay the insurance penalty that to pay the actual insurance premiums. One guy I saw drove for 9 months without insurance and his fine was $1500.00

I pay more than that for my car insurance.

My issurance is high as it is already & this would kill it even more. My parents are soooo giving it to me & can hear it coming.

Remind in the next few weeks to ask my fiend about your situation and he'll tell me what you can say to the officer. But ya, i had the same situation and my Traffic Ticket Paralegal friend told me what to say and i got it reduced and got no demerit points taken away!

I was going West & he literraly stop me 2 seconds from my exit which was Hurontario St. (Such an A$$). What do you suggest I say in court which is April 10??? Should I say: Guilty with an explanation or Not Guilty ???? Basically I don't care to pay the fine but I just don't want to get the points taken off. How can I avoid that or can I avoid it??

I will be having this same problem in SEPTEMBER...I was gong 105 on an 80 thats not bad as 140 but yeah ...I am not sure what I will be saying...I get nervous with these kinds of things...and well also..the cop, when he gave me the ticket, said I should take it to court...so I think he wont be there...cuz they annull the ticket all together if the cop doesnt show up...is that how it works? i duno i ve heard different stories!

i don't know about this. i just hope when you do go to trial, the cop doesn't show up. did he hint at that. i got a ticket once for doing a left turn where i was not suppose to in Scarborough, I told him i was new to the area and the cop says to me "well take me to court" and he winked at me hahaha

i did just that and he didn't show up

If you acknowledged to the cop that you knew at which speed you were going, then I say you declare yourself Guily and give an explanation, hopefully you're a first time offender.

If you didn't acknowledge it, then declare yourself not guitly and claim that you didn't know at what speed you were driving, because you were keeping your eyes on the road, and that shows you're a good and conscious driver.

Other than that, I don't know more details.
