Just a quick note if you're interested. Cuban born music mogul Luis Mario Ochoa has released his Latin-Jazz album called "Cimarron". It's a great mix of latin and jazz elements and also features big names in the jazz field like Paquito D'Rivera, Jeff King.
Tonight they are holding a CD release party at:
The Mod Club Theatre 722 College Street Doors at 7pm (limited seating), Show at 8:30pm Tix: $10 at the door / $20 with CD
Luis Mario's 11-piece band will also be performing with the best in the city for Jazz and latin:
Jeff King Alexi Baro Chendy Leon Ricky Franco David Virelles Paco Luviano Alberto Suarez Luis Denis Eliana Cuevas
Hope to see you guys there so you can experience a whole different and freakingly talented aspect of the latin scene happening here in Toronto.
mad luv
