I know, I lived in St. Marteen for 4 months (In the french side), and as matter of fact there is a Bar around the airport, it's called "sun set" something and that is the biggest attraction of the bar.

planes are nice as long as they are the confortable ones!!!

@ McOSIRIS, I have actually flown into St. Marteen and it is awesome. This approach is just as impresive as your departure into the mountain when you have to make a very sharp right turn and head back out to see over the Dutch part of the island.

@ God, no they are not photshops, trust me, they are real.

@ Julie...wow! that's cool, love to see them, I don't collect much in terms of sacle models, I tend to keep a lot airline paraphernalia, like pens and bags, and pins and little things like that. If started collecting models, i'd run out of room where to keep them. But if you are ever gonna get rid of any of them, PLEASE!!! call me.

And in case you are all wondering... yes, I work at the airport and I have been an avaiation freak all my life.

Some photos of St Marteen Airport. The planes impress most people on the beach, flying over just seconds before touching down at Princess Juliana airport. Paradise for the beach lovers, having a lovely tropical beach, and for the aviation fanatics that spend hours on end observing the very low flying skills of giant commercial plane pilots.
