Actually this movie was inspired on a Spanish (from Spain) movie called "Tesis" that was made a couple of years before this one. Sort of like the same deal with "Abre los Ojos" and "Vanilla Sky". Actually this is the first film by Alejandro Amenabar, the same who directed "Abre Los Ojos" and "The Others".

He's originally Chileno by the way....

You guys should watch it.
