Now let me take a Swing to the Conservatives

Like the Conservative "promised" tax cuts for example which I call the Conservative "IF" tax cuts!

The Conservatives will give you a tax cut:::

IF: You have kids under the age of 6!

IF: You have kids playing organized sports (Like Harper's son who plays hockey)!

IF: You use your local transit system.

IF: You have kids going to trade school.

IF: You buy things that have the G.S.T. (some things do not like some grocerys things like beer and popcorn do!).

IF: You have a large estate you want to pass on to relatives (this tax cut is only deferred).

the Conservative "IF" Taxes.

Regardless Liberals or Conservatives, Greens, Quebeqouis, Canadian economy is an Slave of US Economy. Interst rates are a slave to U.S. rate, why ? Because we have a huge need of the Trade with the US (wich represents 80% of our import/export ) business and we have to be competitive.

Despite all this, when measured in real earnings adjusted for inflation and taxes, Canadians find themselves, after 12 years of Liberal rule, earning no more than they did a decade ago. The infamous tax cuts claimed by the Liberals have been a shell game. Yes, Federal income taxes are down, but CPP rates doubled.

With one week left to go in this campaign, it seems almost certain that the Conservatives will win a minority government, and even possibly form a majority. At this moment, I suspect that a minority is the more likely of the two outcomes, but that could change if they continue to gain in Quebec and/or Ontario.

I don’t think that the Liberals can do very much at this point that will make any difference. Paul Martin’s credibility is too badly damaged and the numbers for the Tories are holding up just fine despite repeated media coverage of the possibility of a Conservative majority. LIberal attacks aren’t useless, but they really serve only two purposes: to pull Liberal/NDP crossover voters back to the Liberal fold, and to motivate the party faithful to get out there on Monday. That might save the Liberals in a few of their closer seats, but it won’t get them back into minority territory.

We were left with a Liberal Party campaign of negativity since it has nothing positive to offer. Paul Martin is now the angry politician. He thunders against his opponents or speaks in hushed, ominous tones. He paints a picture of apocalyptic results if anyone except him is elected Prime Minister.

Many countries worldwide have gone through drastic sudden "overnight" political changes......so really, this wouldn't be the first time.....(that's why most of us are here I presume)


And I disagree......NO countries wanna be like the US.....they wish they had the power maybe......but that's because the US has done so much damage to them.....(not 1 country in the world likes the US and thats a fact)


And going to war......well yeah, that was just a matter of time too......it's for a reason we have sooooo many young men in "army training" each year....I guess the new guy wants to put them to use.....


It would really suck if Harper wins.....but how much longer did people think the "canadian paradise" would last?  (realistically)

Paying for EYE EXAMS and Dental (those who dont have insurance).....and even the increase in violence.....


It's just a matter of time......


The funny thing is.....many outsiders compare Downtown Toronto to New York city.....but cleaner.....


Our education level is also dropping....the prices of tuition are rising allowing more uneducated people running loose.....

So i just got back from advance polling...after waiting 45 mins!  and then after the 40 or so people waiting infront of me voted, and i finally make it to the DRO checking off my name, he takes one look at me and asks me for my ID   WOULD I REALLY BE THERE TO VOTE IF I WERE UNDERAGE AND WAIT 45 MINS!!!!!


just got irritated that i was the only one who got asked to show identification...my dad was cracking up the whole time, THANKS DAD!!!!
