Yeah, winter sucks and it's depressing, but you've got to make the best of it, right? When else can you snuggle up in bed, watch chick flicks, turn the fire on and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate? Or listen to cavanga music? Or have a hot bath? Or daydream? I used to love rainy days back home only because of that. Plus, this winter hasn't been so bad... no minus 40 temperatures. You can still go out for a walk or go for a smoke outside.
Don't get all depressing, people. Look at the bright side!!!

Tuesday Dec 03, at about 2:00 am I was working, and noticed that the wind wasn't that cold for a january. Even the water on the ground wasn't frozen. I think this is one of the mildest winter we've had. Believe me guys, last year at the same time was a lot colder.
And, yes, the lack of snow make's everything look darker,aswell as the visa bills which are going to arrive sooner than later

Hey guys, been a passive member for a while but I know quite a few of you personally..anyway..
what do you hate the most about winter?...for me it's not the cold but actually the lack of sunshine that drives me nuts. When I look outside the window and everything is so freaking dark even at 3:00 pm today...unbelievable. I spent a month back home and people there asked me about the cold weather and stuff, I happen to like the cold (as opposed to hot and humid) but the lack of sunshine... man...another huge turn off for me are the bare branches and dead looking trees...that is a sad scenery..
