Usually dress up for new years. This year is a different story though. It's my first year celebrating with my girlfriends family and each and every single one of them excluding my girlfriend gets on my nerves.

Hey, maybee! I'm gonna do it again this year and see what happens.
Looks like this year i'll be at throwing pennies from someone's front door!LOL!! Sorry, but if Lahtina got that, maybe i'll get something good as well!!
But when do you start eating girl??? Luego you will choke jajaja be careful!!! We start eating then 12 minutes to midnight ... so then by midnight your hands are free and you just go around hugging and kissing on the cheek ...
Good technique , I will try to remember it for this new year if I am still in my senses, lol

@ DG: we eat them right at 12... so its like a mad rush to eat the grapes and hug at the same time. Its craziness I tell ya!
But to answer the question: Yup! Gotta dress up for New years! Brings you a fresh 'new' start to the New Year.
I dont know if this is true, but I heard somewhere that the Asian community settles all their debt before the New Year so that they can start fresh for another year. I wish I could do that
miguel wrote: yellow.. who needs love??? lol Who needs love when you got whips and chains and strawberries?hehehe@DG: we do the 12 grapes as well... its hard to eat them and give out abrazos at the same time though.

@GD: If I had access to your room, I would just go over on the 31st at about 10:45 P.M. and messed it up so bad that the room would look like it’s upside down… JUST FOR KICKS and to see what you do about it… LMAO I don’t believe in any of those end-of-year customs/traditions… I don’t eat them 12 grapes, clean my room or wear yellow or red undies… heck, mine don’t come in those colours!... Happy New Year everyone!
Nooooooooo, que malo LOL!!! That would still give me time to clean it up
LG you must do something maybe even unconsciously ...

People say that if you run around with your maletas on new year's eve you are going to get to travel next year. Or throw them outside your house. That's crazy stuff
I have no debate when it comes to the color of my undies on that day....YELLOW all the way....

Well I was just wondering, do you usually dress up a little for this special evening ? I mean, after all, it is a celebration, we are welcoming another year ! As far as I can remember, either at home, gathering at friends house or partying at a club, I had always dressed up. I guess that is the way I was brought up. I have to admit that my family was very strict with my education. I was often a P.I.T A for me. Is there as well any other special thing you do for the occasion ?
I also dress up, at a house party or any other more elegant place. I like New Years Eve, and all the excitement, the countdown and awaiting for the New Year.
As far as wearing pink, red, green, yellow undies for good luck, love, money, etc....hmmm, not so important.
YEA BAINA I SECOND THAT..... BUT DO U RATHER HAVE UR BILLS PAID OFF OR BE HAPPY THAT U HAVE SOME LOVE????
well, I haven't received that special visa that wash out the bills for me, Imight go for the Yellow since I am pretty sure I can find love by myself, lol
