I ended up at Best Buy, just 10 mins before they were closing.....and got 4 things that I needed at a good price....no line ups, lots of help from the workers and they were not hurrying people to leave...... Of course.....most of the shelves were empty.....due to the morning rush and early birds.....but I had a stress free shopping experience and I'm very satisfied.....I saved TIME!   lol

Hubby got the speakers of his dreams and we didn't even have to go line up! We got them online, and though it took a bit of time, I did it all from the comfort of my home. I hate going shopping, especially to packed places. Hate it with a passion.

The next day we shopped for furniture and found everything we wanted.

Needless to say, now we're broke and will pay for it (literally) for the rest of the year.

La coste does a sale about once a year. I remember it being sometime in the winter. I will let you know when the next one is!

@ Angelita How drastic is the difference in prices between a regular day and boxing day?

Well let me tell you.........a Canon 7 mega pixels was 399.99 compare to $600 regular price. i think that was an amazing deal. There were other great deals that you won't get on a regular day. But most of it was a regualr sale price! Of course me and dad bought had fun shopping for electronics. Next year i'm going for a Flat Panel screen TV!

I will never go to the mall on a Boxing day, you just end up getting the same deals on shoes and clothes!

OMG, I am just coming back from the Vaughan Mills mall. It was crazy, not even talking about Yorkdale.

I will never do it again, plus the sales were not that good. Having to deal with all the line up and pushing to save a few dollars. Thanks but no thanks.

I think the only buys that can worth all that are the electro domestics and electronics products but not the clothing. Better do it on line on on the 25 @ midnight

I went to Future shop with my dad at 5:30am! Next year we are leaving earlier, cause the Digital camera that i really wanted was sold out in a matter of 5 mins of the store being open! But i ended buying another one, that i was going to get if i couldn't get the one that i really wanted. I bought some other neat stuff as well. For the last two years, me and my dad hit the Electronics stores for boxing day! Next year i'm gonna buy a big flat screen tv!

Online shopping has been the way to go for me when it comes to electronics. Downtown is still the place to hit for clothes.

I always try to go.....the bargains are nothing special really....some places only have specials on Electronics......

And the malls are not as jammed as people think they are....

I'm probably gonna drive around and play SANTA CLAUS for the day.....delivering gifts, since alllll my cool friends cant make it to my house......lol

For those that go....Where do you guys normally go to specifically??

Anybody hitting the malls tomorrow?

I usually try to stay away from shopping on boxing day, but this year I have to buy a few things and I'm seriously thinking about going to the mall early in the morning.
