         yes its big for villa latina but what buffy was talking about is another little store with latin stores inside it near jane and lawerence but the one on weston and finch or emery no se ke is bigger!

I guess all it takes is a few rotten-rich investors and some willingness to give a good foundation for the comercial spanish world in Toronto.

Maybe the sultan of Brunei, the richest dude in the world, would be interested about this project.

So the plans for this is small .. I thought it was going to be some big construction ... the space is pretty big ...

I haven't read the Toronto Star article, but I was driving up Jane near Lawrence in the summer and saw some Latin something something sign on the window of a building that was still under construction, and it looked like a big supermarket. Is this what you're talking about?

After reading the Toronto Star article. I started thinking about the "Villa Latina" that is to be constructed by Sept 2006.

As per that article construction should have started in October but I haven't seen anything as of yet . Do you guys feel that this will actually exist??


What I have noticed is that the street signs in the Finch & Weston area have changed and reflect "Emery Village". 


If this does happen, I think it will join the latin community.  I really hope sooo.
