Yes but wouldnt that be just letting us be taken over by our emotions???
I guess in our modern society we have stopped listening to our heart, soul and mind.

Are we supposed to trust our Instincts? Well, hard to say. If I would have follwed my instincs somtimes, things would have turned better but not always. So I think we have to think as well before acting.
Do you believe theres such a thing as an instinct? Ohhh yes, I do.
Do you ignore it or go with it? It depends of the situation.
is it usually right or wrong? Mostly right.
Does your instinct reflect you as a person? I think it does.

Do we do these things? No (well at least most of us don't). Our instincts tell us many things that would be socially unacceptable if not criminal. Our socialization, mostly through our parents, teach, indoctrinate, train us to keep a lot of our instincts at bay. There once was french pyschologist (i 've forgotten his name maybe "piaget") who found a wild boy. who grew up in the wild with dogs. He was as savage as they come. for he truly relied on his instincts. Ironically, Piaget consider him to be the only truly human being - because he was never socialized.
Neruda.......Did you go to school with Angelita Dulce by any chance???

I do believe in following your instinct. I usually follow my instinct and not to be cocky or anything but 98 to 99% of the time I am correct. I'm usually right when it comes to people. I can feel it if a person is good or bad. I know it may sound weird, but I'm hardly wrong about it.

I guess que A ESTO se refieren cuando dicen -specially females- que tienen un SEXTO sentido!
To answer the questions, following X's format:
Are we supposed to trust our Instincts? I don't think we should make decisions based on insctict alone, you have to reason first!
Do you believe theres such a thing as an instinct? I believe we all have it - yeap
Do you ignore it or go with it? at times, but mostly use inscting only to evaluate a situation - have to use REASON to make a decision. Simple example - I see a car coming my way about a block away while I am about to cross the street, my insctinct tells me there is a "danger" in crossing the street at this time; but when I think about it and REASON (factor in) that the car is coming very slow I can come to the conclusion that I have enough time to make it with no danger, so I conclude that I can cross the street now.
is it usually right or wrong? Mostly right.
Does your instinct reflect you as a person? It could - some people are so negative that all they have are NEGATIVE insctincts - I.E.: it's dark outside and a man just happesn to be walking behind - They think the worse: assault, rape, robbery... in a way, I do think that it does reflect you as a person to some degree.

yes if thats the case that would be your most raw emotion...most truthful no? do you trust this awareness? do you believe it....or is it just youre emotions or mind playing with you...
since it's an emotion you have to trust it.... instincts mixed with rational thinking is what we are....
I don't think there's such thing as mind playing on yourself.... whatever you think, feel or believe is yours and you have to trust it....

Lately I have been pondering on something. Are we supposed to trust our Instincts. Do you believe theres such a thing as an instinct? Do you ignore it or go with it? is it usually right or wrong ...and Does your instinct reflect you as a person?
Of course there is such a thing as an instict. All living living organisms have them. It's an innate pattern of responses or behaviour to certain kinds of stimuli.
I believe the word you are looking for is intuition. But in any case, I don't think there is no way of knowing if it'll be right or wrong. As per your last question... I didn't understand it.

Are we supposed to trust our Instincts. - i guess that depends on how mush u trust urself.
Do you believe theres such a thing as an instinct? - yes i do
Do you ignore it or go with it? it depends, sometimes i do sometimes i don't
is it usually right or wrong i say is a 50/50 chance for me
...and Does your instinct reflect you as a person? not sure about this one but i don't think so because instinct is acting without thinking and i think a lot before i do something.
I think instincts should ve taken into consideration up to a certain point.
We live in a civilized society, and social behavior is what rules it (whether we like it or not). Instincts can help you realize how you really feel on a certain situation, but what needs to follow instinct and preceed action, is a cognitive process.
