It IS good to think of one's well being first before going off on them. But everybody's different. Some people just run to find a way to vent it. I just don't agree with the venting on a public forum and somewhat single out the person. If they work together, I'm sure Tania can appraoch this person and find out what happened. They're probably resolving it right now...lol

Okay, I'm gonna play devil's advocate here, but why shouldn't Tania be pissed? She was told someone would call her to go somewhere, I'm assuming Tania got ready and never got a call back. If your friend is sick, the least she can do is call, right?And had two of you not come in here knowing who the person who was sick was, it would've remained anonymous and none of us would've know who the guilty party was (I still don't, nor do I care). Isn't it what we all come here to do? To vent our frustrations? Why are you all being so mean to Tania when she's only doing what we all do, only because some of you know the other person? I'd say, Tania, if you're pissed and have no shoulder to cry on, you're always welcome to come in here and vent. There's no need to give names, just the situation. I've been plantada before and I know a lot of you are and it's quite frustrating and maddening.
I’m with Buffy on that – Had a couple of people not personally known the other person, this topic would not be a big deal… There may or may not have been a valid reason for the other person not showing up, but if I was in Tanya’s shoes, I would probably have created a thread – Tanya did not say a name and MOST of us still don’t know (or care) who the other person is… just take it as a TOPIC as opposed to making it a PERSONAL subject about the SPECIFIC person…
Tanya should have at least got a call saying, you know what, I won’t make it… unless there were extraordinary circumstances where the person could not call.

I'm just wandering.....did you maybe think that something could have happened to this person? Or perhaps, did you try to call her and see what happened?
By being stood up, the obvious reaction is to get upset and vent.....so I don't blame you.....but it's good to be thoughtful and UN-selfish sometimes.....the scenario is not all about you girl.....think of the second party involved.....and don't jump the gun so quick.....

This person is someone very close to me and I take it very personally. You should've dealt with this on your own time without assuming and going public. It just make you look like an A$$. So don't come here and act like a victim.

Paisana, Tampoco creeo que sea correcto tirar esto a lo abierto asi mija. There are ways to go around veting. Esta persona tambien me dijo a mi que hiba a venir. Pero ella tiene fiebre y esta muy mal. I appreciate the fact you wanted to come to watch the show we was doing and had I known the situation you were in, I would've tried my best to arrange a ride for you. Yo te conozco ya por buen tiempo but I never knew que tu podias desconfiar en gente without giving them the benefit of the doubt. Tania, Yes, it's such a bad habit, eh. The one good side to it, you now know about at least ONE person who most likely will never "dejarte plantada" again. Because -I would guess- you'll try not to put yourself in that position. It gets even worse when you have grown any kind of positive expectations about the person whom you are meeting with. Now, if you are talking about your boss and/or wife/husband... oh boy. That's a whole different ballpark there.
well true....well i was talking about a person @ work that invited me to go see Ricky F. ....quedamos de hir...y al final......nunca llamo....pero what ever....atleast it did teach me one thing. QUe no matter how friendly you may think a person is...no devi confiar al 100%......it's all about a lesson in life.
