I counted all my friends, and found we're more like enemies

on another note:
I've found it easier to forget, than to forgive

...but i'm still working hard at the forgiving

A while ago I took a taxi from New York to New Jersey. The taxi driver was a Palestinian. We talked, and he explained how tough it was for Palestinians, and he was right. Then on the way back, I had an Israeli cab driver, and he explained how difficult it was for Israelis, and he was right. Both men were right; both the Palestinians and the Israelis have suffered much.

What do you do when your country has been at war?
How do you love people when you have been hurt by them? How do you forgive people when your family has been horribly treated?

When Christ hung dying on the cross, He said, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." Luke23:34 (NIV) Only God has the kind of supernatural love that can help you love others even if they hate you. You can ask God for His love to help you forgive (and to release hatred of) anyone who may have hurt you.

May God help us all to have His love. Would you please pray for:

* God to bless those who have mistreated you
* You to forgive anyone who has wronged you
* Arabs and Israelis to live in peace

The Bible asks us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Let us pray that all men will come to know the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, as Lord and Savior.

May God bless you as we pray in His name.
