I was never bullied or bullied anyone… I was thought to respect others and not bother anyone or be mean, but if others came on to me that I needed to stand up and defend myself – take a beating and die fighting rather than give into so called bullies… so I did, and it worked fine… SO, will raise my kids with the same thing: Don’t start trouble, but if trouble knocks your door stand up and kick the shiet out of that bully! No kid of mine will get in trouble with me for kicking another kids’ ass IN SELF DEFENSE!

normal part of growing up? well, making other people feel bad is nothing to applaud. but kids can be mean, maybe it's an outlet for them, they may be having problems at home, and being a bully is the way they deal with it.
Should it be prevented? yes, i believe it starts at home with the parent being attentive to the child.
I was bullied in elementary, and later became a bully, not physically, but verbally hurting others....and i regret it dearly. It's a stupid thing to do.

The goverment of Canada has released a statement saying that they will now provide schools with funds for "Bullying PREVENTION".......I WONDER... Is being bullied or bullying just a normal part of growing up? Should it be prevented? Opinions.....are you a reformed bully? Are you scared from bullying? not sure if I am spelling it right - lol!
