As a Part-Time Spanish Technical Support Representative you will have the opportunity to work with leading edge products from IBM. You will help IBM customers with their personal computer products in Spanish and English by providing post-sales technical support over the telephone. This will require familiarity with PC diagnostics tools, problem determination skills, fluent Spanish and English written and oral communication skills and a desire to help others. Working in this Call Center team, you will be a member of a dynamic and expanding organization with opportunities to further your skills in the technical field, including on-going training on various products and technologies.


Working hours for this exciting part-time opportunity are between Monday and Friday from 8am to 9pm and consist of 30 hours minimum per week.


Successful candidates will receive 2 weeks of IBM classroom and on-the-job training.


This opportunity is part of the BTO/CRM Centers. These centers provide world-class customer service and technical support to our IBM customers worldwide. Qualifications


*Ability to read, write and speak in Spanish and English (fluent Spanish is required)


University Degree, or 2 or 3 year College Diploma is required


Strong knowledge of Microsoft Client Operating System, i.e. DOS, Windows 9x, NT, 2000 & XP


PC Hardware skills, including drive installation, adapter card/PC Card(mobile) installation and configuration


Proficiency in navigating and configuring PC hardware in the listed operating systems


Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal form


Customer service skills and telephone support experience


Ability to reason and deduct; problem solving skills and multitasking


Minimum typing ability of 30 words per minute


Flexible work style - ability to work shifts and weekends


Professional work attitude, eager and able to learn new concepts

This position is responsible for contract management, retail contract negotiation and general commercial matters including ongoing management of the retail side of the operation as well as developing new retail business opportunities within specified location.   As such, the incumbent will lead the development and implementation of guidelines and processes for the management of contracts;  have a solid ability to interpret, write and understand contracts, nuances, clauses and grey areas in both English and Spanish to ensure contracts are as iron-clad as possible and assist whenever disputes do arise over differing interpretations of contract language.


 


The successful candidate must have extensive experience in contract administration and negotiation at a senior level and with very high profile and large commercial projects such as shopping malls, hotels etc.  Strong contract law experience is required
