Hey AB: man – that accident explains a lot – quedaste medio “toca’o” - *JOKES*


Good thing nothing happened to you, dood!


 


I have not had any really bad accidents… in fact only had two minor ones:


 


1) Partly my fault – in a rented car … I was going on the main lane of the parking lot, so I did have the right of way – just not at 50 kmh… anyhow I guess this Indian lady figured that she had enough time to make it in front of me, or did not see me coming… I made it just past the lane that she was coming from when she hit the rear end of my car (therefore, it APPEARED to be fully her fault!... after all, she hit me! – LOL )   It being a private road, the cops never showed up, although they were called… tow trucks came and told us that we just needed to report the accident at what-chu-ma-call-it office, so we did (separately)… Thank Goodness I bought full coverage insurance and walked away with no out of pocket expenses!


 


2) MY FAULT: I had just gotten the BRAKES replaced and was going down on Dufferin – going about 55-60… a red light appeared down the road, and cars slowed down and stopped… my brakes, being NEW, did NOT brake fast enough and I knew I was gonna hit the car in front of me… to avoid that, I steered to the left, and ended up hitting a TOTALLY PARKED, NON MOVING car – Thankfully the breaks DID slow the car down and the damage to the BMW (just my luck!) was so minimal (a minor little scratch to the back bumper) that the owner, just took my name and let me go!

Pancho, I think you have a beef with luxury cars. How come you haven't hit a pony?


Anyway, worse car accident: I killed a dog once. Big dog, on Symington, stupid animal didn't see the big van and crossed the road as I was driving by. Stupid owner didn't have stupid dog on a leash. I felt so bad. I just thought, what if it had been a kid? The woman had a nervous breakdown right there and I, to this day, can hear the thump the animal made when I hit him. And I wasn't even going fast.

not when you are drunk, you think you are hitting the breaks when you get to realize you have been hitting the gas.

I have hit couple cars....

First. it was a bad snow storm and My car didn't stop, so I hit a Lexus BUT she didn't have her Insurance and as Typical Latino....told her "When you get your Insurance, make your claim and gimmie a call"...She never called me ( I didn't give her my phone number) and She never claimed nothing...

Second. I was drunk on a parking lot around 8 pm.... I backues up and I smashed a Jaguar Type S, the parking lot was kinda lonely ...so My Latino Side came out and I left the scene.....

The worst one was when my brother-in-law got T-boned and the other car hit me dead on.......Thank GOD nothing happened to me.....but I saw that car coming toward me..and I thought that was it for me........I think about that and it puts a lot of things into perspective.

I consider my self very lucky to be on this earth today, I got into a very bad car accident at the beginning of the year, I was going 120 on the 427 just before reaching the Gardner Express  at 6:30 am when a mini van in front of me lost control I tried hitting the breaks but lost control myself starting at 5 car accident, I was hit by all 5 cars including a big ford pick up and the only side of my car that did not get hit was the driver seat side, can you believe I came out without a single scratch? Well i lost my license for reckless driving (one year) since a witness said i made a right turn without a signal throwing myself into another car, I would never do something like that al menos que estubiera en los bumping cars en Canada’s Wonderland. jejeje
