I used to like 50 Cent, but now I'm sick of anything new he puts out. He doesn't branch out. He always talks about the same $hit. I guess you can say that about any rapper, but he's just more annoying.
Any "My humps" by BEP. That song got played out quickly.
That HUMPS song... matter of fact any BEP that features Fergie as anything more than built-in video ho... Lil KIm's Welcome to Jamrock rip off That Lil Bow Wow name game song...
Phantasma, why you coming at me? I like your foro probing techniques. Keep up the good work. As for the "I love Reggaeton banner" my apology i didn't know it was going to be a nuisance to you. You should of "ghost" when you said you were going to.

@ Ecua - I am from Panama...and I'm happy to see you give props to the Panamanian for their contribution.
@ Both Cuz's...LOL
I agree with most of what you guys have said. But then again....You have to look at it from this point of view aswell........Why are those artists...the banwaganeros...lol.....jumping on it in the first place? Like you said.....to raise the falling profile.....true....but mostly for the money. And from a pure business point of view....I can't fault them for trying to cash in.........however......the lose all my respect as artists. I mean.....if there is anyone to fault is the public who eats up anything that is given to them.....if marketed properly.....no matter how bad the product is. The "TRUE" artists are the trend setters.......the Micheal Jackson, Steve Wonder of each genre are the ones who stand quietly and let their music speak itself.
My little comment about Daddy Yankee.....was in jest. I'm not a big fan of reggaeton myself.....but I have to give credit where credit is due....and Daddy Yankee has been at it for a long time....and has paid his dues.....and is now reaping the benefits.
Ricky Martin is another one. I'm not a big fan of him......I heard a few songs from his last album...and I think he's getting worse. BUT......he also is one that has opened door for other latin acts to walk through the main stream doors.......so if he does well........all other latin acts have a better chance.
So really.......it comes down to the public. It's a shame that people don't really educate themselves and learn about the music before going out and buying the latest "IN" cd.....I myself claim ignorance when it comes to reggaeton....by choice......But I think my points apply to music in general.......

When he says bandwagon jumpers hes refering to artists like ricky martin, shakira, thalia, and even hiphop artists like pdiddy NORE fat joe who all of a sudden want to incorporate reggaeton into their own music. Ricky martin is a good example , since he was like totaly out off the music scene he is using reggaeton to lets just say boost his career up. He has a track with daddy yankee called drop it on me on his new album. It will be a hot single in do time. Same thing with artists like NORE , he was literally falling off the hiphop movment and boom he did oye mi canto , and look how famous that track got, now he switched to reggaeton. Overall these artists are just using reggaeton for the money and fame since reggaeton is on hot demand at the moment. A few years back when the genre was completley underground..these same artists where the ones critizing it and saying how its ghetto music. Don fransisco himself would often take stabs at the genre , and now he has wisin y yandel and don omar on his sabado gigante shows.
I think these artists are just incorporating reggaeton to their own music for the money thats all. I think if this continues the genre is going to go on the popish side and too too commercial.
Verdadero reggaetoneros are fans that now about the music since day one , who always supported it, even if it was underground. The same people who bought the albums back then and basicaly loved the genre from its first steps. Not the ones who never liked it and all of a sudden when its now getting more popular , they show more luv to it.
