Yes, maybe she could have been more "out there" with the answers, maybe more open.... But it's the interviewer's responsabilty to ask the right questions, not the obvious ones.....and get the person to open up......AND even tell them, "you know, this interview so far lacks a lot", can you please step it up, or we will NOT post it.......it's a duty reporters have with their readers......
But like I said before......it will work for "some" publicity.....in people recognizing her.....
As for pictures.....well.....was she told to look "camera friendly" becuase shots would be taken of her? I mean, who in this business....ESPECIALLY in the beauty industry, comes to a Major Media's interview looking like they just got off the bus on their way to school??
Again.......to make the readers say WOW......the posing should have been diferent.....the shots from another angle.....and maybe even added some pics of her in past events, achievements....etc SO maybe people can really see who the "beauty queen" is.
I just don't think this interview did her justice.....and it sure wasn't that enjoyable for the readers.

What did you guys think? (It's on the homepage of TH) I'm sure she's making Hispanos en Canada very proud, especially Ecuadorians.... She will compete in Miss Universe Canada 2006.....which is wonderful.... But in regards to the interview.......hmmmm......I just had to post some comments..... It was a short outline, not informative or educational, just like a simple draft of her Bio, lacking details & research....Definately NOT a proper interview..... And Fanny is such a pretty girl, not to mention great dancer and very smart.....but those 3 pics don't do her justice......(I don't mean because of the lack of make-up or fashion flair).....just the 3 shots were very snappy, and don't make sense OR expose some "life".......if it was meant to show the girl's humility or simplicity..... that wasn't the way to go about it..... Overall, poor quality interview.......but a foot in the door introduction to people who might not know her...... .....some publicity is better than non in the "business" she is in..... GOOD LUCK FANNY ON YOUR NEXT COMPETITION!

just like you pointed out about the poor interview or interviewer, there are better ways or smater ways to make myslef (as a miss hispanidad OR FUTURE MISS CANADA UNIVERSE) sound better, by saying more AND MORE!! besides a plane respone, she could've said more about herself (SELL YOURLSEF, PROMOTE YOURSELF AS A CANDIDATA). BY THE BACKGROUND, LOOKS LIKE THE INTER. WAS DONE IN THE SUMMER. I LIKE WHEN SHE SAID ABOUT ENCOURAGING OTHER GIRLS GOING FOR PEAGENTS, WHY NOT? THERE AR WAY BETTER HISPANIC GIRLS OUT THERE. WITH BRAINS TOO JUST TOO SHY TO GO FOR IT.
AND THE PICTURES, YOU CAN'T DO NUTHING ABOUT IT. I'VE SEEN HER IN MODELING PICTURES, AND LOOKS THA SAME THIS ONES WITH LESS MAKE UP IT LOOKS MORE NATUREL
