That is a good? and I am more then happy to answer it. We decided to add a third one because in every competition there is a 1st place 2nd place and third place. We wanted to recognize those placing. There is a lot of things that we are fine tuning to make it better but to us the most important things was to #1 get amazing judges 2. get you guys a live crowd for you to spin in front of and 3rd Let you guys do your thing without us telling you. In our eyes that’s what we found to be the most important aspects. Its Latin Industry awards but Latin djs must know how to spin all types of music. All djs Played Latin music none only played hip hop.

THIS EVENT WAS NOT ORGANIZED WELL BY SABOR NUEVO, BEFORE THE COMPETITION STARTED THE RULES WERE SUPPOSEBLY AT THE TIME "NO HIP HOP OR REGGAE." THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AN EVENT TO DECIDE AND DETERMINE THE BEST "LATIN DJ IN T.O" IT WAS SAID BY THE ONE OF THE ORGANIZERS THAT MORE POINTS WERE GOING TO THE DJ'S THAT PLAYS MORE SALSA, REGGAETON AND MERENGUE CAUSE THIS WAS A "LATIN" DJ COMPETITION AFTER ALL.

THE 1ST NIGHT:

I WAS THERE AND HEARD OUR LOCAL DJ 'S GOING HEAD TO HEAD SOME BETTER THAN OTHERS BUT AT LEAST SOME OF THEMHAD THE "GUTS" TO GO UP THERE AND DO THEIR THING!!! TRUST ME PEOPLE YOU HAVE TO HAVE BALLS TO DO THAT EXCUSE MY LANGUAGE, BUT IT'S TRUE! GOOD OR BAD ....RESPECT TO ALL THAT PARTICIPATED! YOU GOT MY RESPECT BOYZ! THE NIGHT WAS HYPE THE COMPETITION WAS TOUGH AND I COULDN'T WAIT TO GO UP AND SHOW PEOPLE WHAT I'M ALL ABOUT. DJ AFTER DJ HAD THE CROWD JUMPING AND GOING WILD BUT ONCE AGAIN HIP HOP "ENGLISH" CAME IN THE PICTURE AND I WAS DISSAPOINTED ONCE AGAIN. NEVER THE LESS IT WAS AN AWSOME "BATTLE" AND MUCH RESPECT TO SPICE, DAMENACE AND BAD BOY.....WICKED SETS GUYS!

I WAS THE LAST TO GO UP, DO TO AN EARLIER DRAW DONE IN THE VIP AREA WITH SABOR NUEVO AND THE DJ'S! I WASN'T LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET 1ST OR 2ND BUT IT DIDN'T MATTER.

THE ONLY THING I WOULD LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW IS THAT I WAS THE ONLY DJ TO SPINN " ALL LATIN VIBES" SALSA, MERENGUE AND REGGAETON THAT NIGHT! EVERYONE ELSE HAD HIP HOP OR REGGAETON WITH ONE DJ HAVING 2 SALSA SONGS AT THE END OF HIS SET.

Ok so the finals are this Saturday, but I heard something else is happening at Privilege. I'm kind of confused about what's going on this saturday at privilege, so can someone explain whether if it's just the dj competiton that's going down this weekend, or is there something else that's going down that night aswell?

Ok there buddy. You keep on thinking whatever it is your little mind comes up with. You are the one who calls himself a phat bastard so don't get mad at me for something that you already call yourself. I guess you should change that phat to a dumb instead. I think that name would suit you more, and if you think I'm hiding something behind my name well... let me tell you sweetie that you are wrong. If you don't believe me well then that's your problem, because I could care less what you think of me.

Anyway tomorrow I think that the djs should be able to spin hip hop tunes, because hip hop tunes are played in the majority of latin clubs anyway, so in a way it does have something to do with the latin scene and Latinos. Sonido won, because the judges thought that he spun the best, and it wasn't that he spun hip hop it was the way he did it and sounded. I'm sure and I know that the judges know enough about djing for them to have chosen him as the winner, and if Phat has a problem with that then I suggest that you go talk to them.
