Dude just the Bose Speakers are way over 1k ! they are worth but pricey


depends on which ones you get, they make entry level sets for about 800


These ones here are $599 for 3 pieces, plus 199 to add the other 2 satellites..

you cant go wrong with BOSE speakers, there are some HT in a box systems for around that price range, receiver you could get a bose one but I would go with a Panasonic or JVC, avoid Sony.. its way too overpriced and u dont get that much more for ur buck.

I got a JVC receiver with DTS and so far no problems but only the receiver is gonna be at least 300 bux.

a subwofer at least 100
one center at least another 100
the 2 fronts another 200
and to backs another 200

Plus wiring...... You can do it.....Ebay ! some buyers allows you local pick ups

I bought JVC.  I like it but Im not sure, it might be more than $1000.  The stereo alone was around $600.  Youd have to look into it.
