Ive had the oportunity to check out his new tracks, and they are super hype! His lyrics are unsurpassed by any other reggaeton artist out there. Tego brings tracks that are reflective of his life in slums and the struggle that he had to endure. So when he rhyms about life in the hood and gang banging and drugs and all of that, he's not fronting... he's serious... he lived through that.
In regards to "rich" man buying "poor" man music... Hell yah! Thats been going on from time! When 'poor' mans music catches on, its like wild fire amongst the 'rich'. They realize that its hot and want to jump onto the bandwagon and cash in for as much as possible.

If you are referring to TEGO CALDERON......I agree....he's tru to his roots and with all the money he is making, he still hasn't gone through some much needed plastic surgery......that shows he is "real" and not vain as well......lol
The whole rich man/poor man thing also relates to the evolution Salsa, Merengue & Bachata.......same ol' story.......it becomes an issue of $$$$$$$$ when the music becomes a BUSINESS.....that what makes music, artists and their popularity grow worldwide.....
