Princessa when was the last time u went?? cuz what i can say its newly renovated and they reopened like two weeks ago so go again and tell me what u think!!
I HAVE TO STRONGLY DISAGREE WITH MOST OF U THE FOOD FROM THERE IS AMAZING YES I HAVE ATE IT ALL AND ITS MORE HOMEMADE THEN MOST RESTAURANTS I HAVE AT AT MANY AND YES THE PUPUSAS AT MI PUEBLO ARE GREAT (I DONT EAT THERE FOR PERSONAL REASONS) BUT THE ONES AT THE MECADO I GUESS DEPENDS ON THE DAY CUZ WHEN I WENT THE LONG WEEKEND MAN THEY WERE GOOD! SO I MEAN U CANT ALWAYS GO ONCE AND THEN BAN A PLACE I SUGGEST U ALL GO AGAIN CUZ U WILL BE IMPRESSED AT HOW MUCH OF A RESTAURANT IT LOOKS LIKE NOW AND HOW GOOD THE FOOD IS ESPECIALLY THE ECUAORIAN FOOD OMG AMAZING! AND ITS NOT AT ALL PRICY!!

Danny, I think you should take them to another place, cause in "la Placita" the foos is ok but it doesn't really have a good look. Take them to another spot with latin american motives( pictures, artesania, etc). Mi pueblo looks clean, and El Plebeyo sells great see food.

I recommend that place. The place looks better now after the renovation. I have tried all the restaurants there and they are all good. I ususally go for the peruvian food and los jugos. Ummmmmm. Jugo de pina!!! I might just go this weekend. Oh wait, isin't it the pupusa festival this weekend??? Well, besides that place there are other good restaurants in TO. For example 'El tipico Ecuatoriano' (Best sopa de pescado!!) Then there's 'Las Americas' (Best Empanadas) These are some of my choices, well the list goes on.....
@ Daeveed: Haven't been there in a little while, but from what I remember they sell both. You feel like food to eat right then and there you can do so. They also had a place you can buy stuff to take home, I use to get my mote and tostado to make yummy yummy!
EL MERCADO MAKES THE BEST PUPUSAS AND LOS JUGOS DE LA FUENTE!!! AIGHT DAT IT I WILL BE ATTENDING MORROW!!!! IF ANYONE ELSE GOES DONT BE SHY AND DROP AND SAY HI TO MY AUNT!!! THE SEAMTRESS.......
ummmmmmmmmm pupusas!!! That is your aunt? I agree the juice is WICKED!!!

I love the food there. Although I love all the food that they have there I mostly go there for the pupusas...YUM...man I'm getting hungry just thinking about them. lol. My #1 fav food by the way. I think your friends will like them, then again who doesn't like pupusas? LOL I would definitely recomand this spot. A little bit of everything is always good. yeah thats the first thing they want to eat ,(my friend's mom makes them, i think shes getting tired of me always being there and asking for seconds!) thanx for the tips!
