Early 80's had really good Rap and Hip Hop (Planet Rock by Afrika Baambataa).  Also Chubb Rock, Run DMC, Big Daddy Kane, Kool Moe Dee,  Rob Ease & D.J. E-Z Rock; the list goes on. But also the early nineties (my favs, Lords of the Underground, Tribe Called Quest, Naughty by Nature, Pharcyde, Cypress,  Wu Tang, Digable Planets.  Man I can go on and on, but I think I really into the early to mid 90's rap and hip hop.  Since I was a teenager then I was better able to understand and appreciate the music.

93-96 Right before two of hip hops greatest legends were taken away its been 9yrs since Tupac died what a sad day that was i liked his music more then Biggies but i still love jaming to Hypnotize lol
