Vice President Dick Cheney, in Gulfport, Mississippi on a tour of the Katrina hurricane zone was cursed out as he answered questions from reporters...
Off camera, a protester shouts, "Go f--k yourself, Mr. Cheney. Go f--k yourself." The camera remains on Cheney while we hear scuffling in the background.
CNN's reporter asks Cheney, "Are you getting a lot of that Mr. Vice President?"
Cheney replies, "First time I've heard it., Must be a friend of John..., er, ah - never mind."
I don't know if any of you saw or hard Wolf Blitzer when he said:
"You simply get chills every time you see these poor individuals, as Jack Cafferty just pointed out, so tragically, so many of these people, almost all of them that we see, are so poor and they are so black, and this is going to raise lots of questions for people who are watching this story unfold."
It's disgusting how tht goverment treated those poor people! I always wanted to go down New Orleans to visit my favorite Voodoo pristess' tomb "Marie Levau". New Orleans it's so mystical and Creole and I just can't believe the lack of help those people received from mister inpet Bush!

@ Lahtina.....what's this about animals? sorry......I must have missed something......pls tell me.....do you mean PETS? or Zoo Animals?
Great! I hadn't even thought about the zoo animals. I'm going to research now. I was talking about all the pets that had to be left behind. A lot of these animals are trapped in trees, on porches, roofs, you name it. Without water, food and just baking in the sun. It's so heartbreaking.
Maybe I'm a bad person, I don't know, but I can see a body floating in the water and not really feel anything. For me to empathize with someone, I need to see them crying but show me an animal in despair and I can't help crying and wanting to help it.
I think getting Bush Sr. and Clinton together (like for the tsunami) is exactly the right thing to do. Fundraising for disasters is something that former presidents are very apt to do and you need to be able to appeal to all demographics. Regardless of what anyone might think of either Bush or Clinton, they're helping out because they have a moral obligation and a duty to their country.. (remember Bush is over 80 now.. it's not exactly easy for him)
Miguel is right.... they both have a lot of influence regardless of peoples like or dislike for both of them. With influence such as that, they would be able to do a lot for the victims.

Ooooppps.....I must be a BIATCH too because in all honesty, that same thought ran through my mind....like "thank god for most of these people......now they food, shelter and soon they will be back up on their feet"......it's great for those people.....
I look at it as something good coming out of it all.....
In the words of Oprah: "THIS TOO, SHALL PASS"

As for CELINE......her message with rage and passion was the right thing to do.....but SHE just doesn't sound sincere doing it.......it makes me sick seeing her with her horse hair be so fake......if it was any other celebrity I would jump on the phone and even adopt a homeless child in Ethiopia.....but with Celine shedding those "hollywood" tears.......I got nautious.

Accompanying her husband, former President George H.W.Bush, on a tour of hurricane relief centers in Houston, Barbara Bush said : " So Many of the People in the Arena......were Underprivileged anyway, so this is working very well for them...."
BIATCH
I now see where George learned to be so out of touch with those less fortunate....

More than Payback....this is Karma....and as much as I wanna feel good about it....I CAN'T......
What the US has done to the rest of the world has been in full control......what happened with Katrina was an un controllable natural disaster.......(and yes, Karma works in mysterious ways).....BUT.....is Bush really suffering here? .....I doubt it.... As far as I'm concerned, that air headed monkey will look at the flood in new orleans as a new swimming pool he can chill at......yet another vacation!
What's funny and spiritually ironic is how we get to see that PEOPLE ARE JUST PEOPLE.....once their materialistic posessions are destroyed, they are all at 1 level...........sad, but true.
1. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK OF THE BUSH/CLINTON FUNDRAISER UNITY?
2. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK OF CELINE DION'S DRAMATIC REACTION TO ALL THIS? WAS SHE SINCERE? (I can't stand Celine.....mainly because she is so fake.....so you know my opinion) lol
@ Lahtina.....what's this about animals? sorry......I must have missed something......pls tell me.....do you mean PETS? or Zoo Animals?
1.- Bush/Clinton Fundraiser....they did the same for the Tsunami they basically focus on the "Big-Shooters" and try to get money from Wealthy people. Plus the political message of Republicans and democrats working "together".
2.-Celine.....I saw her...I hope she doesn't loose her American Visa

Yeah, but don't forget that even though they were notified, many of these people didn't have the means to evacuate. Not everyone owns a car. Just take a look at CNN, does it look like the victims were well off people?
OMG....That was hilarious, Mike Meyers couldn't wait for Kenya to finish speaking...and do you see Chris Tucker, man his eyes were bigger than usual...LMAO..

Here is the transcript:
“I hate the way they portray us in the media. You see a black family and they say we are looting, you see a white family and they say they are looking for food. And, you know, its been five days because most of the people ARE black. And even for me to complain, I would be a hypocrite because I would turn away from the TV because it’s too hard to watch. I’ve even been shopping before even giving a donation, so now I’m calling my business manager right to see what is the biggest amount I can give. And just to imagine, if I was down there and those are my people down there. If there is anybody out there that wants to do anything that we can help about the way America is set up the help the poor, the black people, the less well off as slow as possible. Red cross is doing as much as they can. We already realize a lot of the people that could help are at war right now, fighting another way. And now they’ve given them permission to go down and shoot us.”
“George Bush doesn’t care about black people.”
edit: The look on Mike Meyers' face was priceless!

Just wondering how many of you would Help US, I mean send some cash to help the Victms. According with Project Billboard and the Center for American Progress have released a major new analysis of the cost of the Iraq war. The clock will start at $134.5 billion and increase at a rate of $177 million per day, $7.4 million per hour and $122,820 per minute.... Now the Question is Would you send cash ??
Chilenita is going to love this One, But Fidel Castro is Helping USA !
Sumatra that was Hit by a Devastating Tsunami on Dicember of 2004 is Helping USA....
Even Hugo Chavez is going to Help USA.....with cheap Gas prices...I like Hugo Chavez !
Hugo Chavez Comments:
At the end I hope Bush learm to keep his words Sweet and Soft....because you never know when you're going to eat them......
