I had my mayate wannabe stage too, but i didnt wear that type of jewelery.  I was just more into the baggy jeans, all colours and the Champion running shoes to match the jeans.

Also, for the houser days, i do remember the jeans with the cloth part inserted at the sides.  Also the polkadot shirts.  I had so many of those.

Also as a prep, I would wear my jeans with safety pins.
