Crack hyped it up so much about it being the first time them 3 performed together and all they did was do a 30 second snippet of one of their songs separatelly. It kinda sucked cause I thought they were gonna do a song together for real. Tego was good tho, they shoulda let him do a whole song by himself. -- Edited by Phantasma at 13:09, 2005-08-29

Was last night the best MTV Awards show yet or what??? (that's what I think anyway) lol
It was entertaining, fresh, great music selection, full of variety I really think PUFFY out did himself.......he was the perfect host for the 2005 MTV VMA He gave away his expensive watch, he changed clothes every 10 mins LOL....he brought back MC HAMMER....lol.....he gave away 100, 000 to the best dressed artists: winners were Gwen Stefani & Snoop Dogg
The theme of the night was: "anything can happen,"
Ludacris bigged up Toronto and Caribana in his performance....he must have had a wicked time here that weekend.
On the LATIN side, they featured Shakira's La Tortura LIVE performance with Alejandro Sanz (and his new bleach blonde mohak), Daddy Yankee was a nominee not a winner , Mexican bimbo (lol) Paulina Rubio was wearing nothing but a black thong under that lacey black dress and presented an award with Lil' John: as he tried to put his arm around her,she removed it snobbishly with disgust (was it just me or was she a little "drugged up"?) ....for the men....Desperate Housewife, EVA LONGORIA came out in a low cut bathing suit, very innapropriate for the occasion I think....Ricky Martin was also a presenter...he looked super skinny, was styling a mohak, and looked really happy to be there....AND how about the presence of REGGAETON!!! Yankee, Don Omar & Tego..........and of course....La Gasolina!! lol
I didn't like Kelly Clarkson's barefoot, ugly wardrobe performance at the end....especially when she got all wet and was still trying to scream out the rest of "since you've been Gooooooooneeeee...." LOL
One of my favorite parts of the night (besides seeing Alejandro Sanz)...lol....was R.Kelly's performance.... the Trapped in the Closet Role Playing he did was amazing!!! What did you guys think?
Destiny's Child....those 3 for once did not represent the "united sisterhood" they always mumble about.... I guess that was their "forced" goodbye speech.....
50 CENT & TONY YAYO......after their live performance together, what were they mumbling?? does anyone know? They seemed really mad at someone in the audience.....and the camera kept showing Kanye....
In the post interviews, did you guys see when Kanye West was wiping his shoes with his hands, not even making eye contact with the reporter nor acknowledging her presence?? ...What's wrong with that guy?? ...He came accross disrespectful and creido......no? If it wasn't for Jamie Fox singing with him, I would have changed the channel....lol
By the way, JAIME FOX is dropping an album really soon.....and 50 cent's movie comes out on NOV 9th titled just like the album "Get Rich or Die Trying"....do you guys think it'll do better than Eminem's 8 Mile? The preview doesn't look as hype....
Ironically enough....in a major event like this one, with the urban music domination, the big winners of the night were rockers....lol.....GREEN DAY went home with almost every award.....congrats to them!
