A friend can be described in many ways but heres one description to think about...
truth be told a friend is one that will push your buttons and tell you truth no matter how bad it is. anyone can be hospitable, anyone can approve of your every move and anyone can smile at what you say. most people are "friends" only for benefits, such as maybe a person has a hook up somewhere and things of that nature, do you see what i am trying to say? anyone in the world can hug you and say "hold on" BUT a true friend will tell you the truth. a true friend will tell you when its the proper time to let go of that idea, that you look ridiculous in those pants, that chasing that sexy person will lead to heart break, nag you on things you should get done, tell you to relax on parting and think of long term commitments.
Friends the point i am trying to convey is be cautious of the people you call friends. physical pain, a person can get through, they can heal and usually there is a known time for physical healing but emotional pain is the hardest to live through and the pain that causes the worst scars, one never knows when they will eventually get over that process, so beware for your own sake. " expect the best, prepare for the worst" a sad truth but a wise one.
