yeah i give them credit and this is why, cause that is something that they did not me. So i will not take credit for someone's work, just the same way i wouldn't want someone to take credit for my remixes. The one thing you have to remember is that one day you are here and than your gone. I'm a great DJ as well as every other dj, i'm one of the oldest and i have been around doing alot of the big name clubs and events not spanish but english scene. As a dj you never put another dj down but support them cause one day u'll all need each other and may have to work together. Life is funny somethimes. Take me for example i have had the chance to work with Diamante Sound and it was a great experience. I respect those guys as well as everyother dj out there cause i hit the clubs and i know who most of u djs are.

no need to get all rattled up over a controversial discussion of mixed CD. Candela has a point, i think y'all should read carefully before coming to the conclusion that Candela is using Hateraide juice. the point he is making is that Mixed Cds are fine, they great, adds real flavor to original music. but here is what the true description of a mixed Cd is;
Mixed CD ( from the unwritten guidlines of a true DJ): A CD which has been composed, remixed or alter from its original state by changing variables such as bass, trebel , voice overs, sounds effects, speed, a different tempo from the original, a different voice or melody fromt the original, and/ or etc. etc.
So boys and girls what have we learned today in Music 101? heres the recap, if a Dj uses a MIXED CD ( refer to the statement above ) thats more then fine, he can go ahead and spin that reggaeton remix and be oh so fresh but what should NOT occur is a Dj making a 4 min Cd with 3 or more songs (that sound like they are getting faded and mixed on the spot) without ever touching the fader in order to mix. its a scam if you do it that way, so please think twice before doing this your only effecting yourself cause when it comes down to it and your put on the spot what are you gonna do? " hold on guys let me get my pc!" ?

your right trampo i play other remix from other dj's like dj kazzanova i play most of them but when u have different songs mixing already with not even a touching the fader than its wrong but every dj has their own style and my style is not to play mix cds that are already done . just my way to do it u learn more and u learn from your mistakes . peace
Well said Trambo ... its true, lots of djs have remixes with their ID in the mix, it does not necessarily mean that the dj is playing their entire mixed CD. Beyaco don't falsely accuse me of playing a mixed CD, I put alot of work into this. The next time I dj feel free to come to the dj booth I have no problems with that, just ask Candela.

My people i don't want to put any djs down at all cause every dj has there own style. But i support every dj in toronto and if i hear a great remix by diamante or any dj i will play it and say it's a diamante or prieto or demanice mix cause that's how djs should work i have a lot of remixes that other djs love to play at there clubs. but the bottom line is not about the djs but the people that are there to have a great time we are there to please them. With that said i will be coming out with a mix cd and a compolation that will offer the best remixes and dj sets in toronto.

my bad but i had to say what i saw it bugs me when dj's have a chance to mix but meanwhile its already mix and stand there like guilt . im not saying just u but alot of djs do that i seen it too i did it before like when i first started djing. and also have one point too managers of clubs dont like that it makes them feel like they get ripped off it also makes the club look bad if people find out . like in my idea prieto if your doin that u have to stop people will see u and tell your boss and u can get in trouble cause your not doin your job right just some points to u so u can go on and on in the future of djing at othere venues . peace

Now thats humorous, who says that? if you think about it, this was a very Rhetorical post, its like saying Rappers shouldnt listen to other Rappers or singers shouldnt listen to other singers. the point is that the spot light is on the Dj so no, there is no such thing as not watching a Dj at work. the point is that as a DJ your suppose to have talent because your responsible for peoples entertainment on any given night. to post this Charlie was very naïve of you, really you should think before you speak. on top of all that was said who cares if your cool with him, i know i dont and i am sure then 9 out of 10 people here dont either, Charlie why dont you post something more interesting or something more to the point, like why are you so "cool" with Prieto, is it cause he is a good person? clearly it has to be that because as a DJ...i aint even going to get into that. tell me Charlie what does Prieto contain that makes him such a great Dj? clearly i have to ask you because you seem to be the person that talkes for him so what should i call you?
