I actually think that rejection might be a bit of an issue. Supposedly if you're dating online, you and that person should have the same interests and things in common (profiles and all that).

If one rejects the other, the rejected one might leave thinking there is really nobody for him/her to be with, since not even a person with common interests wants to date him/her.
