wow miguel, thats so good, hats off to you! Its so nice and refreshing to see people having goals and acting on them. My boyfriend finished his program in engineering and works for a great company......slowly but surely its paying off. No, but im glad you know where you are going, Keep it up!

i work fulltime as it is.. doing the masters thing part time.. when i'm 29 or 30 i will probably move to the states for MBA school and then cash in on the work experience and contacts in the field to do consulting on my own (well, with some other people..)

so within 5 or 6 years i hope to not have to work so much and just enjoy life instead.. and i will buy a beach house in peru and spend winters there

anyway education works for some people, and doesn't for others. i don't necessarily think having an education is necessary for success, there are many recipes.. but definitely in my case the education has helped (and keeps helping me) get ahead

Well, boo-f*ckin'-hoo... so you're here alone, no family, etc. The more reason why you should do things for yourself and try to get ahead in life. It's not that easy once you have a family, and yet, it's still doable.

I know someone who went to back school in his mid 30s and he's living the life now..

i may yet do a phd after this masters..

but most likely an mba in a few years

Did you know that Agatha Christie started writing when she was 65 years old? I never see age as an excuse. I can give you countless examples of people who have gotten ahead when they thought life was over for them. And I do think that you have the makings of a good lawyer, so I'd say, go for it.
