It might not be an inferiority complex, necessarily. Sometimes tv and radio stations will use the tools that are readily available, and these agencies (AP, CNN, Reuters,etc) have people and equipment all over the place, and local stations can get the best product for a fraction of the price instead of sending out choppers, reporters, camera crews to the sites. It's all financial sometimes. In this case, though, the fact that it happened right here in T.O. merited that they send the crews to the site, to get a real feeling of what was happening, so shame on 680.

Yesterday while I was driving back home I was listening 680 News...a Toronto Based Radio station, Local based News.....and I found very pathetic. that the used CNN to broadcast the LOCAL news.......I don't know it's kinda funny......a Local Radio station using an American news Broadcaster to give us the Local News.
Inferiority Complex.......Very sad that Canadians feel like this with the U.S.

This is all over the news right now. Does any of you guys know anyone on board of the plane? Was anyone driving along the 401 when this happened? I know they're saying it's because of lightning and the storm, but terrorism is on everyone's minds. What do you guys think?
