I'm totally with you on this one. I think the overload of posts about him is starting to have a negative effect on people, therefore defeating the purpose of the posts themselves.

I might have been inclined to listen to him a while ago, but now, I'd rather pass on it. Just because of all this, it's sad, but that's what "hype-overload" creates: lack of credibility.

I don't know if it's the negativity from everyone posting or the fact that it's obvious that either himself or his PR are making up positive remarks about him. I personally don't care about him. He doesn't do anything for me, but I can't say he is ****. I just think he is not worth all the forums that I see on this site.

OK, I gotta argue this ine.

Although I agree with you that Fito is not the best thing since Celine Dion (whom I don't like either), I don't think the quality of an artist can or should be measured in album sales. to me, that has very little to do with an artist being "good" or "bad", I think factors like creativity, innovation, musical intricacy, composition, etc are much better to take into account when deciding if an artist is "good" or "bad".

Personally I prefer artists that come to the stage with instruments and can play them or a band that plays for him, many artists bring lots of equipment to their shows, guitars, drums, amps, efects, etc. It just doesn't turn me on to see an artist that all the equipment he brings to the stage is a CD so he can sing along "Karaoke stile".

Can I call Fito a stoner?? i'm sure he's a cool guy and will have no problems with that, although his followers might be slightly fundamentalist and therefore will burn my a$$ on Nathan Philips Square or something.

Finally, I don't have anything against him (I haven't even listened to him so I can't comment on his music) but if you say he is so big, how come I can't find him on any charts? I think you are blowing it up out of proportions, and honestly I think that's not good for his (and obviously your) image. An artist needs to be honest. Maybe he has so mant "haters" because they are fed up with the hype, and not the musician.

I think he is probably a good artist, but I don't think he's as big as you paint him. Hopefully though, if that's what he wants, it will become a reality.

Although I don't enjoy his posts too much, I think I'm gonna jump on Mr Moet's defense here.

As bad and offensive his posts can be, I believe Moet always uses his name to do it, and I doubt that he would post something as Anonymous, plus his writing style is pretty distinctive, and it would be noticed. So I don't think it's him posting all that bull****.

What I have heard you can call Sound Scan, you can pay 100.00 dollar and they will give you the exact amount. WHat I have heard from a source is that Fito Blanko sold 35,000 in Canada and 68,000 albums in the US. Its seems that that is a good amount for a first album. Huey Dunbars last album didn't reach 20,000 units, and victor Manuels last album sold only 18,000 units. The only latino artists that are selling big are reggaeton artists.

Hi everyone! I'm just curious. How many albums has this guy Fita Blanko sold? I'm hearing too many contradicting stories. I heard some people say he hasn't sold more than 1000 copies in Canada, and then I heard on of these posts that he has already sold 50 000 copies in Canada which would be big. I'm a huge music fan and I've only heard of this guy recently, but I do know that if he sold 50 000 copies I would have known a while ago. Can someone please reply with an accurate number? Thanks
