I'm with Charlie. Rogers bought Fido, reception should be a bit better now.


I'm on the $45 unlimited plan, there are many special offers you can take advantage of that will save you money in the long run.


The place I go to for cell phones. Cellteck Wireless (on Dufferin just north of Lawrence on the east side). This place carries everything, they also do cell phone repairs.

A friends of munie just sign in with Rogers and he  gets all incoming calls for free .


 Compared plans before chossing .


All I can said it the Bell works for me cause when I can pay my bill they don't cut

I use ROGERS and los “hijos de su madre” started charging me extra fees without notice… my contract with them is almost over.  Service wise, I find it alright – after a phone call, they refunded me the extra charges that they had taken from me… la recepcion is fine for me – haven’t had problems… but many amigos have told me they add fees without notice, not only on your cell, but if you have internet or cable with them you have to watch.


I heard SEVERAL people complain about Fido – don’t get it, bad reception from what I hear.


I tend to like the idea of the “10-4” service of Bell – I like the idea of talking from phone to phone with this “walkie-talkie” like feature… I think you pay a flat montly fee for the service; but you can talk unlimited this way – correct me if I am wrong.


Virgin Mobile, I personally don’t like cause I think they only have pay as you go – unless you only use it for emergencies – not worth it.

Np girl well it brings a standard voice mail and call display but i up graded to an enhanced one lol cuz it saves ur messages long and takes more messages but its like 4.25 more which is worth it! but if i stay within my min (which i never do plus i do make calls to mtl and nyc) but if i do my bill is usually about 60.00 so i mean its not bad!


But then again i have the family plan which is also a great thing if ur mom or dad wants a phone too cuz u can talk to them unlimited and they get the same plan as u for $25 more so its not bad but again thtas just an added bonus.


go the kiosk not the ones that distribute but the actuall Rogers stores they have more options and plans they can also give u better deals and offers then if u go to like Radio Shack or to The Telephone Booth.

i get afeeling this thread is not going to help you at all hon!!! everyone likes their own company!.........all i can say is that i've been with bell mobility for about ten years and i'm very happy with it, their customer service is very good... i've even had free phones handed to me, when mine got lost, and I don't mean the crapy ones that are free anyway (of course, as i said i've been with them for a long time) and all it took was a phone call, as far as fees go with any company... it will just depend on how/when you use it, I think they're all pretty comparable.

Bell's network is way better than rogers' and their CS is better too, however rogers has cooler phones and cheaper plans.
