I haven't seen it yet.  I'll probably go tonight.

I remember "los cuatro fantasticos", they were those 4 guys in cartoons, voices in spanish.  That was so many moons ago.  I'd like to see the movie, it must be really interesting.

@ confesiones---that movie made me want to convert to scientology.... ok, maye not, but like you, i expected more from it.
what's up with the "crows" ??? how did the army ended up distroying all the machines??

the crows were just a sure tell sign that the 'shield' these things had over them was out, remember when all the artilery the army used and it did nothing to the machines? well it was because of this shield...

the army didn't destroy the machines, it was the grenade tom planted when he was being sucked up...once that blew it kind of fried all the circuits running though the machines hence taking away their shield and making them 'destroyable'..

I won't spoil anything, but its great cause it makes you jump. You have to remember though, that this movie is a directors rendition and vision of what the world would be like under attack of 'aliens'. So, in a way it is sort of science fiction. But please don't let that spoil your desire to watch the movie! Steven spielberg is amazing. Tom Cruise was good too.
