I attended this event last year and I really had a good time with my family. I am personally not Colombian, pero a quien no le justa el ambiente tan allegre de los colombianos!!!! Really good atmosphere, beautiful people I'm defenatly checking it out this year.
Hello! I'm one of the coordinators for the Colombian Independence Day festival at Earlscourt Park and I want to invite you all to come out for this year's festival. I don't know how many of you attended last year or the year before but since we've taken over the response has been awsome and attendence increases each year! Karen Espana Event Coordinator Colombian Music Group The Colombian Music Group is a non-profitable community based registered organization that provides the opportunity for Colombians, Latinos and anybody with an interest in Latin culture to join in celebrating the Colombian Independence Day festival approved by the Colombian Embassy in Canada.
With the increasing immigration of Colombians into this country we are dedicated to offer our community a sense of bond and unity and show that we can continue to feel proud of our country’s independence and continue to embrace our traditions here in Canada.
We are holding our third annual two-day festival in celebration of the Colombian Independence Dayonce again at Earlscourt Park in the corner of St. Clair/Caledonia on the 16th & 17th of July (Sat. & Sun.) from 12noon to 10pm.
At this grand annual festival its attendants can expect great music, dancing, entertainment acts, raffles, give-aways and fun outdoor activities, games, competitions and prices for the children. There will be food stands featuring typical dishes from various Latin-American countries and a licensed beer bar is also available.
