That's what I m saying.  There's nothing wrong with being moreno(a).  All I was saing before was that the majority of salvadorenos that I know are fair skinned.  My father is fair skinned, but I have a caramel complection.  I rather be morena then white any day.  Not that there's anything wrong with being white.  To the guy that wrote that most of the salvadorians that come here come from pueblos and have brown burnt skin.....what r u trying to say by this comment?  What's ur point?  So what if they're brown?  What's wrong with that?  What if they come from small towns?  What's wrong with that?  To me it seems that the people that come from small towns in El Salvador are very humble and hard working people.  Please explain what u mean by those comments that u made.

Back home all those rich people do not have the need to come here, so they maintain themselves beautiful, u guys need to go to El Salvador to appreciate the beauty we have, Zona Rosa, Santa Tecla, Chalatenango, full of beauties...There is also lots of beauties in every single canton y pueblo there too... My point is just like south americans see ugly salvadorean people, we too see ugly south american people, its all the same, poor people from all over need to come here. Would it be safe to say that all Ecuadoreans have big heads? can we say all Colombians smuggle some 'yeyo' to get here, or they all cultivate coke in Colombia? can we say all chilenos look white and pale? can we say all bolivianos eat coke leaves? can we say all peruvians are indios? Point being is that all countries have their different cultures and unfortunately you see here mostly salvadoreans here because of the political situation that we we force to live in the past, and now you see a large chunk of colombians going through the same thing... So , i would say do not judge a book by its cover that we all have a little history as well.. and yes I am salvadorean and proud....

I wonder why people think that the majority of Salvadorians r short, moreno, and with curly hair?  Short and with curly hair yes, but morenos?  The majority of salvadorians that I know are fair skined.  My father is Salvadorian and he is tall, fair skined, and with curly hair.  I think that in general most people think that all latinos look the same.  Which obviously it's not true.

When you say that the rich people keep themselves beautiful.....I would like to know in ur opinion what do u think a beautiful salvadoreno looks like?  I think that all salvadorenos r beautiful regardless of what they look like whether their skin is brown or white.

If we know our history, we should all be proud of everything we accomplished and feel sad that a whole culture was wiped from the face of the earth without giving us a chance to share our richness. If I were given the chance, I would choose to be fully native, because that way my identity would've never been compromised. However, I'm proud of what I am today (I can't change the past) and I try to teach my children and other children that we should be proud of who we are and try to instill in them pride and respect for our ancestors.

It's not just salvadorians that they put down, it's all of central america.  They're just ignorant people who have too much time on their hands.  As for them calling us indios.... well obviously they haven't looked at themselves in the mirror.  If you look closely at yourself in the mirror you'll find that you have one or two "indio" traits.  All Latinos from central and south america have "INDIO" in them whether they like it or not.

On a brighter note those are some great pics Miss Lee.  What part of El Salvador were they taken at?  This place looks real beautiful!

El Salvador is an amazing country with breathtaking scenery and honest and humble people. Its such an incredible country, with a lot to offer.

Thanks for posting these pics girl!

As for the annonys... dont let them get to you girl. Let it slide off your back, no need to stress over stupidity and ignorance.
