I used to watch AI all the time, but this season I got so turned off when Mario left. I watched a bit of it last night, though, and I really didn't care either way. Just for the record, the one AI contestant who's done better than any of the winners is Clay Aiken, and he didn't even win. So it goes to show that you don't need to win it to make it. I loved Fantasia and she hasn't done much...

I agree with everyone here. American Idol does need something different, i think the best ones have been Ruben and specially Fantasia. I do not like Kelly Clarkson at all. Clay is pretty good too but they needed the rocker style in there. But it's true, he may outshine Carrie. Did u see Bo's performance with Lynyrd Skynyrd? that was off the hook. He fit right in.

I have to agree... how many Blonde pop starlettes do we need? atleast bo its got a different style. I have a feeling his CD would be cool. Kinda gives me a Rob Thomas kinda vibe but with a Jimmy Paige look.

Hey Colombiana4Life, I have been watching AI since September, and my original vote was for Mario, but since he didn't turn out, I quickly wanted Bo because of his style. Your right, they needed someone different and I can see why Carrie would win (beautiful strong voice and typical girly looks), but to me, she has no sparkle, or charisma in her. I don't watch Amarican idol but I have seen her (Vonzel Solomon) preformance. I don;t know why did they vote her off. She was the best in my opinion.
