What does her private life have to do with her being a contestant on this pageant??
I still think the pageant is bull**** cuz there are alot of qualified professionals out there that can do way better jobs than they can. But then again, who am i to judge them. Hope TLN knows wat they are doing.

I kinda agree with what you've said, but I think that Ismael Cala has a great voice, talks so well & clear. Again I don't know him but he seems in my opinion to be good at what he does. I think that's why he's gotten that far in this field.

Thay probably want them to work for free and don't care about professional background.
Look at Carlos Cuevas, he's supposed to be the morning star in that radio. I know there are real professionals out there but they don't get the oportunities they deserve.

@princesa I agree with you girl but in this competition (even if you can call it that) Karen is the best, to be quite frank i don't even think she has that much competition. But its puzzling to see that they have made this into a beauty contest, and not as a true talent search. I know plenty of male and females that are trying to make it in the broadcasting industry and it seems as though TLN is not really looking for experience or education in the industry but rather what would get the best ratings.
Good luck to all of them and i hope TLN gives the winner more that 1min of air time. BTW I never noticed any advertisement that they were doing in a host search, Im quite positive they would have more contestants if more people new about it.

Ok my opnion on this is that these girls are not ready to host anything.
First their Spanish isn't the greatest & second because so far the ones I've seen talking, can't even speak for one minute without repeating themself over & over or have absolutly nothing intresting that will want me to vote for them. If your trying to be a hostes you gotta be very good with words & have a good vacabulary & I've so far seen none from them.
I'm not trying to put anyone down.

I definately agree with what Miss Lee said. TLN don't give a sh!t about local events. that's why they're always posting local Toronto stuff on 1 minute little throw downs (Informese). YES Hola TV I have faith in. I believe they will promote so much more of who and what Toronto latinos are. TLN WILL have a run for their money for sure. I can't wait!!
Karen Is Definatelly the winner, I have actually had the opportunity to meet and speak to her In person at The Colombian Festival and she is Stunning, and Intelligent, dont let the good looks fool you. she Speaks Spanish wiht that sexy colombian accent. I got all my boys voting for her, I know everybody so my votes will add up. COMPETE GIRL. WIN!!!!!

i don't want to speak ill of any one but i just checked out the competition for Karen and well they have a 17 year old that is in this so-called search, no offence but what possible experience can she have and how come there are no males? if its a "host" search?
I'm definately going for Karen. She's a pianist and a musician. We need one of those to infiltrate the walls of TLN who has a HUGE history of ignoring and looking down on our talent.
funny now tln it's staring to do thing to win some audience like the other threat of diario orgullo hispano about two new spanish channels on the way.
they may be nervous about competicion, i just wonder if they going to pay this girls for they time or just us them for audience and them forget about them.
That's a good idea ...having a biography about her and the other contestans, so we can all learn more about the person and decide according to their talents, who deserves to be the next TLN host. If looks was all, i must agree she is the prettiest and most latina looking girl on there ...I will probably vote for her too..

Broadcasting is a complete career to some, and people actually attend college or university to become a broadcaster. I find it interesting that TLN has made it a pageant rather than recruit those individuals among the community that have gone to school to learn such a craft.
I'm voting for this Karen chick. De todas she looks way more professional. Y Parece que tambien es muy talentosal. There are 2 chicks, that are showing way 2 much and the skin......tanning gone bad!

Plus, This girl Karen, has the 100% latina look. Nice skin complexion, she's pretty & by the sounds of it..very talented. If she's done that Biore commercial, I'm sure she'll what to do.
