Yes, i know all about CRTC. And i do agree with u that theres no unification from the community and i mean thats been proven right here on this foro i've read comments that pretty much express hate/jealousy to other artists. Sad if u ask me. But that brings me back to my original point: the reason that one latin artist gets airtime and others dont is not because we all called and emailed the radio station, its not because we support and support, ultimately its because that artist has already had a great deal of exposure here and throughout the u.s. Radio stations realize this and it makes it so much easier to give them airtime. Therfore if you want to be given some canadian air get some good exposure in the u.s and then get some of your friends to email and call the stations here.

no no. all isn't lost my friend. all the toronto fm stations you hear have to have a certain percantage of canadian content being aired on their playlist. And it's true that here in canada we only follow what's hype in the us. I agree with you on that. but canada sucks for a launching ground for any spanish artist trying to make it. there's no pull from the executive level and the community basically sucks when it comes to unification.
