In my house when it's my b-day I get every memeber in my house jump me early in the morning with hugs & kisses & b-day wishes. Then I usualy have a nice breakfast done for me. After work when I get home my house is usually decorated with tons of balloons & other decorations & I have all my gifts in the living room & a cake, so when I get in they all start singing to me happy b-day. It's usually very nice & sweet of them.
We do this with all my brothers as well.

For my 15th, my parents threw me a big azz 'mini wedding'.. complete with a big pink dress with a HUGE bow on the butt, (ewwww) and 14 damas dressed in green. It was like this big production, I loved it! (except for the big bow part)
Now, its just dinner with the family on the Sunday following your bday.

Inspired by the fact that it's Genie's Birthday, what are everyone's birthday traditions in your own family? We always got Las Maņanitas sung to us (either acappella or a recording of it)... first thing in the morning. My friends in high school said that for the first 5 (?) callers that wished you a happy birthday on the day of your B-Day they'd have good luck brought to them (although they got some nasty insults from me, 'cause they were insane and would call at 2 or 3 in the morning... fighting to be first) You're supposed to get the number of kicks according to how old you're turning? I never undestood this one... and never put it into practice...
For my 15th I was supposed to have a nice party, but there was a death in the family and I only got a cake () but 15 are supposed to be a big deal for Latinos. Anyone had a big-ass celebration? They're sort of a mini-wedding.
Any crazy traditions in your family?
