Ummm, this is sooo close to home!

My mom wants to move now but I don't ... But I mean it was made clear that the party was at Prestige ... I didn't even know that club was there ... I was worried that it was at Cocodrilo and was worried that some of the people shot were people I knew

... Although I feel for all injured and the young lady she left 4 kids ... Que triste es la vida en occasiones asi

Unfortunately this is going to go down as yet another 'hispanic' incident. Although it did not occur INSIDE the mercado latino, it is still being presented that way. Its going to end up in the same light as the 'women who went salsa dancing at a salsa club'.

Its unfortunate that we're being viewed in this light... even though the hispanic community had nothing to do with it.

I agree with you guys we need to do what ever we can to stop this crap. i know this particular incident did not happened in a latin club but we are seeing this very often in our clubs too, we will not get to the point where people will stay home because its dangerous outside. so who ever its in charged of an event be responsible and hired a qualify security company and all this stuff will end or at least reduce to the lowest standards.

That is so sad to hear. What is this world coming to. When is the violence going to stop?What happened to the good old days when you didn't have to worry about getting stabed or shot at a club? You just went out to have fun with your friends do some dancing, have a few drinks, and laughs. Now you have to worry about people carrying guns and knives around. That's why I really don't go out much anymore. You know what the sad part about it is that people get robbed of their lives for stupidness. People these days get into fights for the dumbest reasons. Half of the time the wrong person(s) gets hurt not that anyone deserves to get hurt, but in some cases whoever the attacker intended to hurt doesn't get hurt and inocent people are the ones who get f*cked in the end. There is more to life then trying to prove to the world that you're a big man or woman by hurting and killing someone else regardless of what that person has done to you. When are people going to learn violence is never the answer!!!

This is true...but it happen inside the nightclub prestige place it didn't happen in la plaza latina..

Police were called to the bar at 9 Milvan Dr., near Finch and Weston Road, around 3:30am Sunday morning. When they arrived they heard the sound of gunfire. Once inside the club the officers found a woman with no vital signs and she was later pronounced dead at the scene.
