Ok..in response to Pancho's message.. I am not latina, i never said I was..? Where are these assumptions coming from? Im speaking on behalf of all the models.. and models world wide that are not of latin decent. Wether or not you feel the dj's that are hired are the worst in YOUR community..that is your opinion and take that up with the person who does the hiring! I dont have the audacity for anything.. I am speaking freely from my mind. I dont come in here with that typical 'perceived model attitude'. Im actually very open minded and down to earth. Speaking in caps only because of a few immature comments made by certain individuals...and I myself falling under that NON LATINO category you were talkin about..Im not tryin to make a $ off of YOUR music/moves/blood & sweat. I think everyone equally puts in their half of the weight..and therefore why would there be a night having both urban and latin music/crowd? No you might not OPEN those chinese/ jerk chicken shops but Im sure alot of you EAT food from other cultures? True or no? Dont get me wrong.. people read things and take them a little TOO literally.. I dont come in here tryin to offend or bash any one or any race.. there are many latin clubs and events goin on in Toronto.. this is just ONE of them. If you fall under that category of those who dont appreciate events like these, then just dont attend. Its your CHOICE..no one is FORCING it upon ANYONE. If its not your thing..just dont go..who cares? There more important things in life to dwell on such miniscule little things like these. Why is almost everyone so critical? Life is short..dont be so miserable/negative. SMILE..appreciate.. laugh live life.. ! And you have no right to tell me "step the fack off OUR culture?!?!?"

I have the right to do anything I want..it doesnt concern you. Until it does..you can take that up with me..dont blame me for what other people do or what other people market just because YOU dont like it? Im sure not everyone agrees with you..and im sure there ARE people who agree with you..thats FINE. Just dont speak on behalf of your WHOLE community because they have their own opinions themselves as well...dont make 'YOUR' community look bad because of YOUR opinion? Everyone has their OWN say...everyone should keep an open mind..and a non judgemental one @ that.. we need to start combining our talents & efforts & blood n sweat cuz we can get alot more accomplished that way, in ONE perspective..we need to elevate from this silly petty discrimination. THATS all I am saying.

Same thing with all the war goin on in the world..if we only combined our strengths & resources we might some day overcome all this hate, discrimination, war & poverty!

There's no racism from our part as we're quite used to co-existing with other races: We've been doing that for thousands of years already. What does rubb us the wrong way is non-latino's trying to make a buck of our music, moves, blood and sweat!

We don't go around opening up variety stores/ chinese restaurants nor Jerk Chicken shops so stepp the f@ck off of our culture.

A lot of the models are of mixed ethnicity.. so let me guess now just because someone is not of 100% latin decent ..that must mean they arent good enough rite?
